A glimpse of Iceland

We spent ten days in Iceland and drove a rented car mainly on the Ring Road around the island and stopped where the tourist buses stopped. Now I'm fed up with tourist attractions. Anyway, I prepared some pictures and comments. Maybe you'll enjoy some of them.

All pictures are taken between 2010-05-31 and 2010-06-09. Spring came very late this year, therefore the pictures show less greenness that what is normal in summer.

The small pictures are 480×360 pixels, but most pictures are also available in the wallpaper format 1600×1200 pixels, and some even in 'High Definition TV' format 1920×1080 pixels (but the browser is told to restrain the rendered width of the large sizes to fit your screen).
