Torghatten south of  Brønnøysund   Brønnøysund   Brønnøysund  – 'the hat on the island Torget' – is a small mountain, 258 meters high. Through it, nearly halfway to the peak, is a natural hole, roughly 160 meters long and averagely about 20 meters wide and 40 meters high. There is a path up to the northeast end (15–30 minutes up) and inside the hole there are wooden stairs down the steep part. There is also a path on the other side which takes you around an 'extension' of the mountain and back. This picture is a view from the southwest end slightly upwards toward northeast. It's possible to view through the hole from the southwest (sea or land, sightseeing boat from Brønnøysund) and from  a site   a site   a site  far off and high up toward northeast.
