Ridderspranget (The Knight's Leap) near the road through the eastern part of Jotunheimen across Valdresflya. The wild river Sjoa (less wild at this time of the year) is a favorite for white water paddling and rafting. The name Ridderspranget originates from an eight hundred years old legend: A knight, abducting another man's bride, jumped to the other side carrying the girl. The gap on top of the cleft is a little more than two meters, but the edge may be slippery, a few years ago a guy (not carrying a bride) ended up in the river. He somehow survived.
