The Agdenes lighthouse

The Agdenes lighthouse is situated at the entrance to the Trondheim Fjord and was manned from 1804 till 1984 when it was replaced by a smaller lamp near by. Passing by on the fjord is one of the Norwegian Coastal Voyage ships ("Nordnorge", actually the same one as in the previous picture). In the background the peninsula Ørlandet, as flat as a pancake, a quite unusual terrain feature in this country.
