Mandal is special in one way: Adjacent to the town is a 8 kilometer long sandy beach Sjøsand |

– and immediately behind the beach there is a large natural park. In the far end of the park and close to the beach is a large camping site. On the town end of the park/beach are facilities for visitors without a tent. |
