Flekkefjord is the westmost of the Sørlandet ("South Country") towns, Western Norway begins just a few kilometers away. Nevertheless, the old town is as typical Sørlandet as any town, with its narrow streets, white wooden houses and – still – some blue front doors. The latter might not be visible on this picture taken late in the evening. The number of inhabitants in the Flekkefjord town is a little above five thousand. |
