Google Maps™ – Lysebotn (in Forsand)
A replaced Pelton wheel from the Lysebotn hydroelectric power station. This type of turbine is used for high heads, in this case the fall is 610 meters. The artwork is found in Lysebotn, a small community at the inner end of the wild Lysefjord. (A Pelton wheel can be viewed also on the Rjukan page.)

Attractions at Lysefjord (for some): Kjerag where the BASE jumpers get their kicks. Preikestolen with its 600 meters vertical drop into the fjord (accesses from the outer (west) end of the fjord).
