Låtefoss and Låtefoss bridge about fifteen kilometers south of Odda in Hardanger ('foss' means waterfall). There are two waterfalls, Låtefossen to the left and Skarsfossen to the right, coming from the same source. The height is 165 meters. The bridge (half of it shown) is a dry stone construction (no cement), but it seems cement has been used for preventive maintenance(?). A kiosk where you can buy ice cream and souvenirs is discreetly(!) placed on the left side. |
