The waste combustion plant in the south outskirts of Trondheim. When this picture was taken it was being renovated and expanded. It's now heating a third of the town, the goal is half the town. Domestic and industrial waste is collected from a large district and the smoke is very clean, close to pure water vapor. It's three weeks before midwinter and the sun is low in the sky.
The renovated combustion plant on a cold day (-20 °C). The power meter on its wall showed 210 megawatts.
